Basketball WhiteBoard

Basketball WhiteBoard is an application which allows you to display player and ball positioning on a full court or half court display. Simply drag the players and ball around with your fingertips as you explain to a player how to position themselves on the court! Each team can be represented as one of two colors (Team #1 can be read or green, Team #2 can be purple or orange), and you can have 2-5 players on each team at any time. The letter designation on each player can be changed by simply double-tapping that player.

NEXT UPDATE WILL SUPPORT APPLE iPad!!!!!
Basketball WhiteBoard version 1.5 will be a Universal Application that will support the Apple iPad platform. This will appear as a free update for current owners of Basketball WhiteBoard and will be available to new users at the same 99 cent price point. When run on an iPad, the court graphic will be larger (and to proper scale) and will support having some controls to the right of the surface to allow for easier manipulation of program without having to flip back and forth between views. Apple is not accepting Universal Applications that are updates to existing apps on the App Store until the iPad begins shipping, so I do not expect to submit the updates until April 3. Please stay tuned to this web site for more info!

New in Version 1.2 (Current Available Version): Version 1.2 adds the ability to draw lines with your finger on top of the playing surface when you put the application in "drawing mode". Drawing mode is entered by performing a large vertical swipe (without dragging a player dot). This is equivalent to putting a "transparency" over the playing field upon which you can draw. When you are done drawing, double-tap to remove the transparency. If you want to erase the transparency, give the device a good shake! Additionally, you can now specify 0-5 players on each side. Finally, international versions of full and half court modes have been added!

New in Version 1.1: Version 1.1 adds the ability to show "trailing lines" when moving a player. When configured to show trailing lines, a gray line appears along the path you moved a player once you have completed dragging that player to a new position. To erase the lines, simply give your device a good shake! Additionally, a bug was fixed where the state of the whiteboard was not being saved when you terminated the application.

Basketball Whiteboard allows you to use your iPhone or iPod touch as a tool to help teach players of any age. Set up a scenario and then ask your player(s) to move dots to the right position! Perfect for sitting down one on one with a player on the bench, in the locker room or even on the bus as you travel to your next game.
